    COUNTRY AS TEACHER invites you to join us in Weaving ways to Support Cultural Practice, Revive Waterways and Heal Country.

    Who? Mob interested in looking after Country and weaving

    What? Help to set up weaving gardens using traditional weaving plants and learn weaving techniques!

    Where? Byron Wetlands and Bangalow Weir When: Twice a month, register for more details Bring: Hat, sturdy shoes, clothes to get dirty in Morning tea and lunch will be provided

    A place of gathering, a place of learning, a place of working together, a place of sharing, an exchanging of cultures.

    Together we invite you to a 5 day camp created to empower our future young leaders through Culture.

    For First Nations students in Year 9-12

    Our first camp was a collaboration with Culture College and Country As Teacher with supporting local business.

    We aim to run more of these important gatherings on Bundjalung Country.

  • Bulaan Gii ma lee la Baygal naa camp

    A three day camp, for men.

    An opportunity to connect To culture and Country with a percentage of the proceeds will go towards sponsoring First Nations students to participate in a youth leadership camp, on Country.

    These gatherings focus on cross cultural connections. Remembering our ways of being with Country and building our relationships.
